My son, Jason
Campana, died from Oxycontin mixed with other
depressants. He was 19 years old and was in trade
school for Cement Masonery. He was born on April 2,
1982 and left us on January 16, 2002. He was the oldest
of my 6 children and we miss him so much.
My son, Jason,
died on 1/16/02 from an overdose of oxycontin. I tried
to get him into a rehab when he told me about it, When I
got him in he left the same night. This drug is rampant
all over So. Philadelphia and the kids that hang out on
the corners are getting it with no problem. Also, when
our government tells us that an 18 year old is an adult,
I don't think that's true in most cases. If I could have
kept him in rehab he may still be alive today. It's only
been two weeks since his death and my heart hurts
deeply. I miss him so much.
