Name:Danielle Email:[email protected] Type:Abuse Story Date:12/12/2002	I am 16 years old and I have been abusing oxy's for about 2 years now. I first started using when one of my friends mother had gotten them perscribed to her for her cronic back pains because of pervious surgeries. When I first came in contact with them my friend, "sue" would get me 50-60 tablets of 40 milligram oc's. I went out on the streets and sold them for $30 a piece, which was cheap. We split the profit. Never did I take the oc's b/c I had heard and saw how addictive they were. All my customers consisted of only about 10 people. They just kept coming back. Many of them were my friends and I watched them steal and pawn items from there family and come to me to buy oc's. One day, while stealing some of the pills from Sue's mom we took one. I loved it instantly. I have always had an addictive personality and I knew that from my runs for crack, coke, crank, and pot even. We stole 50 tablets that day and I sold 10 of them. The other 40 I saved for myself. I up-ed my price to $45 a pill and had enough money to give Sue for her part of the profit. I first just took them by mouth. Soon I was taking 4 at a time. I had heard about snorting them and so I decided to try that. I had became very careless of getting caught with the drugs I carried to school. I would crush a pill in the bathroom at school and snort 2 of them then go to class. After a while I figured out how to get the "most" out of the oc's. I got needles from a friend of mine. Her dad had diabetes and injected his own insulin. We would shoot-up at her house and then go to school. Sometimes I would be in a hurry and I would take all my supplies to school and do it in the bathrooms in the mornings. I knew I had a problem. I loved every part of the drug world. But I was also on anti-depressants and anti-psychotics for paranoia schizophernia, manic depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. I was in a hurry that last day and so I took my supplies to school. I shot up my normal 2 pills and it hit hard. It was the worst trip of my life. I am a cutter. I have been cutting for about 4 years. I always took razors to school with me, just incase I felt the urge. When Sue found me I was lying on the floor of the bathroom stale with my needle still in my arm and great amounts of my hair in my hands and my arms and legs were cut all the way down. Blood had ran out into the other stale and the lobby of the bathroom. I was sent to the mental hospital here...but i have been there before. No detox, no rehab, nothing to keep me off the pills. I stayed in the hospital for 6 months. Sue found ways to sneak in my oc's every week. I still do oc's but not near as much. I limit myself to once every week...or at least I try. But I still smoke pot and I smoke it 3x more than I used to just to keep my mind off the oc's. Please, dont make the mistakes I made and please think more of yourself and your life before you decide that it isnt worth it.

Name:Ryan Dzwigalski Email:[email protected] Type:Death Story Date:12/11/2002	Well, one of my closest friends recently died by mixing oxycontin, with alcohol and xanex. he of course was at a party everyone knew he did it, and they just let him. well his name was DALE BODINUS, he was 18 years old, and had recently found out he got a football scholarship from N. Illinois University. i hope that if anyone reading this realizes that this drug does kill, and if youre at a party and you know that someone has it, DO NOT let them take it at any cost. I only wish i was at the party so i couldve stopped him.
