On about April 19th 2002 SOMEONE hacked into the old guestbooks and DELETED them. What they deleted was over 500 DEATH and ADDICTION stories relating directly to OXYCONTIN. They also deleted over 100 stories from people who are legitimate patients and most of them need oxycontin for their SEVERE PAIN. I apologize to anyone who took the time to share their stories to HELP warn others. Those guestbooks were somehow a comfort to all who have been affected by this ABUSE epidemic. Please if you are looking for your story then REPOST it. I'm sad to say but by the amount of email I am receiving these guestbook's will rapidly rebuild their SAD tales BUT people need to be warned as to the power of this drug and the deadly consequences when ABUSED.
Please read the other stories and add yours to our guestbook...

I saw a t.v. show on a woman who was addicted to oxycontin and was trying to find some because I love pills. I usually mix them but with hydrocodeine I would get sick so I stoped. I still would love to try oxycontin but after reading this site it scared me. Where I live that stuff is not to popular. But I guess that is good for me. Thanks for your site

Hi, My name is Kelly and I'm sorry to say that my ex-husband Carl J. Gonzales, Jr. (3/24/1962 - 8/2/2002)was also a victim on the addiction to oxycottin. On Friday, 8/2/2002, Carl was found in his bed, dead by his roommate. Carl was found with a syringe next to his body, along with a prescription of oxycottin. Carl was not terminally ill, so how was he issued a prescription for this very dangerous drug. Carl and I were divorced in 1996 and I had not seen him since 1997. I left Carl in 1996 because he had been arrested for possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and unlawfully carrying a weapon. It was my first day in my career of law enforcement when he was arrested. I did find marijuana in his vehicle in 1995, that's how all this started. We had separated, I gave him another chance, and he blew it. I could not live like this, so I left him in jail and moved out of the house. On 8/2/2002, he left his family and his 4 year old daughter. I spoke to a very good friend of mine that is a Lt. for a Narcotics Division. He advised me that a lot of the pharmacy's do not want to carry oxycottin due to the risk of being robbed. There are many breakins by the addicts that have the oxy addiction. He stated that companies that make oxycottin are looking into ways to make the drug non-effective when the tablet is crushed. I hope that they can accomplish this, as it may stop the increase of deaths from this drug. I too am willing to help anyone who wants to help themselves with this addiction.
