On about April 19th 2002 SOMEONE hacked into the old guestbooks and DELETED them. What they deleted was over 500 DEATH and ADDICTION stories relating directly to OXYCONTIN. They also deleted over 100 stories from people who are legitimate patients and most of them need oxycontin for their SEVERE PAIN. I apologize to anyone who took the time to share their stories to HELP warn others. Those guestbooks were somehow a comfort to all who have been affected by this ABUSE epidemic. Please if you are looking for your story then REPOST it. I'm sad to say but by the amount of email I am receiving these guestbook's will rapidly rebuild their SAD tales BUT people need to be warned as to the power of this drug and the deadly consequences when ABUSED.
Please read the other stories and add yours to our guestbook...

On April 20, 2002 I recieved a call from my best friend Jacob," Hey man I just got my income tax return in, come and pick me up" he said. Great news considering that we had been on about an eigth month 200 - 300 mg oxy run. I picked him up that night and took him to go and cash his income tax return. That night I had a date with a friend so was not able to join him for our usual activitie. So I dropped him off at one of our friends house and went on my way. He called me at about 12:oo A.M. and to tell me that he had bought 5 80mg oxys and to ask me if I could come pick him up. I was spending time with my girlfriend so I declined. He said that would be ok because someone else would give him a ride home. I made it home late that night and got a call from him at about 3:00 A.M. He told me that he had made it home ok and that he really appreciated the help that I had been giving him lately since he was have some problems with his parents. And that he loved me. We hung up. The next afternoon I got a call from his mother she told me that at 8:00 that found him....dead. There is not a day that doesnt go by that I dont miss him. I love you and miss you my friend. As i just chose the type of story i have to tell i chose the "Death Story" , I chose this because one day i died of Oxycontin, i was on for 4 years, taking up to 400 mg a day. My life for that time was ruined because of this drug. One night i thought i was just going to take the normal amount i take just about everyday, and i did. That night my mom woke up in her sleep to go to the bathroom and as she walked by my room she saw me laying on the ground and thought something might be wrong. She tried to wake me up and checked my pulse , there was no pulse, and she couldn't wake me up. She called 911 and they came and said i was almost dead. I went to the emergency room and they somehow saved my life. I read stories about how people go into there kids bedrooms the next day and can't wake them up because it is too late. I think to myself that i am one of the luckiest people in the world, if my mom would not have woke up at 2 in the morning to go to the bathroom i would be dead. For whoever reads this and needs any help at all please e-mail me, i have been through hell and back with this drug. Even after i got out of the hospital i was stupid enough to start again, but now after seeing people die from something that i started them on makes me feel so guilty , so terrible . There is a big problem with oxycontin because it is not a drug that is illegal, this drug is legal , and if you go to a doctor and ask for them they 9 out of 10 times will give it to you. It's not like heroin or cocaine that takes manpower and a lot of money to start, Oxycontin is a drug that is word of mouth, one person tells another and then he or she goes to the doctor to get it. I personally never gave anybody else the drug but myself, but when people ask and get interested they can get it anywhere. This is a problem that starts within our own country, not anywhere else. If i had one wish my wish would be that I never ever ever heard of Oxy's , it ruined a big part of my life, and PLEASE don't let it happen to you. I have been clean now for 6 months and plan to stay that way for the rest of my life because i know if i dont , then one day i won't be here because of Oxycontin.
