On about April 19th 2002 SOMEONE hacked into the old guestbooks and DELETED them. What they deleted was over 500 DEATH and ADDICTION stories relating directly to OXYCONTIN. They also deleted over 100 stories from people who are legitimate patients and most of them need oxycontin for their SEVERE PAIN. I apologize to anyone who took the time to share their stories to HELP warn others. Those guestbooks were somehow a comfort to all who have been affected by this ABUSE epidemic. Please if you are looking for your story then REPOST it. I'm sad to say but by the amount of email I am receiving these guestbook's will rapidly rebuild their SAD tales BUT people need to be warned as to the power of this drug and the deadly consequences when ABUSED.
Please read the other stories and add yours to our guestbook...

I had a severe struggle with Oxycontin. I abused it for around 2-3 years. It started out as recreational use, but then it almost killed me. I had to take 4 80 mil. a day just so I would not get dope sick. I began by snorting and then that led to shooting up. I had to get Oxy's at ANY AND ALL COST AND WOULD DO ANYTHING TO GET THEM. I stole my mom's wedding ring, wrote bad checks, had a car crash and lost my dad to suicide, because he said he couldn't live to see his little girl go to jail. Now, I am in a recovery program and I have been clean for over 4 years. For anyone struggling with Oxy's, give yourself a break and get some help and STOP BEFORE THEY KILL YOU!

They claim that Oxy isn't addictive eh?Well i have news for the liars, taken if prescribed OR not they are.I would go through withdrawals everytime i ran out of meds when i was Rx'd 40's.But once my bumped me up to 80's AND 40's and i ran out that is when all hell broke loose.Ended up having withdrawals so bad i had grand mal seizures three out of five nights in a row! I DO have chronic back pain but KNOW much less would help..10mg a day perhaps?Anyway i've seen all types of addictions from alcohol, crack, benzos and the oxys.Getting off the oxys are the worst because you just can't take 300mg a day for a month then one day decide to flsh them down the toilet.. Amazing how UN-hard Perdue Pharma is working on an opiate antagonists like Suboxone, methadone or anything!!Pricks..

My brother David died August 15 2006 He overdosed on oxycotin. The cornors report came back accidental overdose. How can a drug blood test of 2680 ng/lm be a accident. He was getting a prescription every month for 160. He had arthritis in the back. There was know reason for him to take a drug like this. He didnt have a chance in hell to get off this drug. I beleive doctors that prescribe these drugs for so long should know the damage they are doing to the patient. Someday they will have to answer to God for this. David was a handsome good hearted person. He has 2 boys 8&9. They now live with grandma. I cant tell you the pain of his loss. I will miss him. I know this world is not my home and we will be together again someday
