As
I stated on my homepage some Chronic Pain (CP) patients
who truely need oxycontin to help them manage their
severe chronic pain are being denied access.
I do consider these people as Victims of OXY ABUSE
because it is the ABUSE of this drug which is also
part of Prescription Drug Abuse in general that is
causing so many heartaches.
Some people want to argue that the media is over blowing
the OXYCONTIN ABUSE
stories and I know from doing interviews it is rare
that any media story is 100% accurate. However this IS
a rising drug abuse problem and as long as it is on
the rise there will be more stories and eventually
more restrictions. We all need to do what we can to
stop/slow the ABUSE to not only save some people from
themselves but to avoid making CP patients VICTIMS
also. This is my goal to stop/slow the abuse through
EDUCATION to save some lives whether it be an
unknowing teen or a SEVERE CP patient who has gotten
their life back from oxycontin.
