MY son Elliot Joseph Matos Jr. age 19, died on Sept.08,2001 of an Oxy Contin drug overdose.My husband,myself and my daughter Brittany are trying so hard to hang on and deal with this.Elliot was a wonderful child full of life,sweet,kind and gentle.He played hockey and baseball since he was 6 yrs.old and excelled in both.He also loved to rap,that was his passion,he not only rapped,he wrote all his own stuff.He planned on going in the marines for two years,then wanted to become a firefighter.One week after Elliot passed away,my Dad (his grandfather) passed away.My dad could not bear to live without his beloved grandson.We pray just for the strength to get through each day without him.His Lil Sister was the love of his life,and he was so very proud and protective of her.He had so many friends,was loved by so many people,he touched everyones life in such a profound way.Danny Perez,Ernie Brand,Jeffrey Kelly,Joey Roderick,Mike Pierre,Eric Ramsey,Sean Driscoll,Heather Driscoll,Claudine and Red,thank you so much for being good friends to Elliot and a major part of his life.
