On about April 19th 2002 SOMEONE hacked into the old guestbooks and DELETED them. What they deleted was over 500 DEATH and ADDICTION stories relating directly to OXYCONTIN. They also deleted over 100 stories from people who are legitimate patients and most of them need oxycontin for their SEVERE PAIN. I apologize to anyone who took the time to share their stories to HELP warn others. Those guestbooks were somehow a comfort to all who have been affected by this ABUSE epidemic. Please if you are looking for your story then REPOST it. I'm sad to say but by the amount of email I am receiving these guestbook's will rapidly rebuild their SAD tales BUT people need to be warned as to the power of this drug and the deadly consequences when ABUSED.
Please read the other stories and add yours to our guestbook...

I am so worried about my sister. She started out abusing Hydrodone (or any other pill she could get her hands on). Then graduated to the oxycontin. Then she graduated to snorting them and most recently has begun to inject them with a needle. This IS NOT who my sister is. Right now shes in jail and hopefuly detoxing. I want to help her out but have before and got nothing but ripped off and lied to. I have two little girls and can't have them around all that. So what do I do to help? She has no medical insurance and no one will help her except for a 7 day rehab program which she already tried. If she doesn't get help soon she's going to DIE and I know this. Can anyone offer suggestions on help for her? I'm willing to do anything for her. PLEASE. I'm going crazy with worry for her. I didn't know how badly it is for the respiratory system as well. She also smokes cigarettes and has asthma. So, she doesn't have much longer to live if she keeps it up after jail. I'm open to ANY suggestions at all. Please e-mail me.

It has been 5 months today since my son died from taking one oxycontin 80 mg while out partying with friend. I can not understand why he took this drug. I miss him so much and not a day goes by that I do not cry for him.He touched so many lives and had so much to give. People around me just seem to go on with there lives but I have a hard time just getting out of bed in the mornings. I miss him so much and I so hate the drug that took him from me.
