Name:jim Email:[email protected] Type:Abuse Story Date:1/8/2003	first my condolences to all people affected by this devil drug. i waas divorced from what once was a beautiful,outgoing,woman. she was the best friend,wife and mother a man could ask for, until.........she got on the oxy's.........now she is gone, alive but gone, 24 years of marriage, gone......she has flagged med reports , 3 detox efforts, 2 treatments, and after 3 or 4 months, bang, she is back on oxy....it will never end.......if a loved one starts on this, do anything you can to stop it, or you also will feel the pain of this horrid drug............jim

I lost my wife on 5 Dec. 02, She had been in a lot of pain in the last 15 yrs. from a back injury and a unsuccessful operation. She been in out of doctors office the past yrs. She was prescribe oxya and she didn't like them. In the fall of 2002, some one told her to crush the pill and it would work for her better. She was then hook on the oxya. I should have step in sooner, when our checking account was going down fast, I ask her where is the money going and she would get all mad. So I went to our church and pray for her healing. When I got back from church she would ask me what did I do when I when'd to pray? I told her that I pray that she would get sick when she did the oxya, it only led to a big argument. And then she started to keep things from me, like money borrow on charge cards and bounce check charges. She wasn't prescribe the oxya but the one time in the summer, she was buying them off the street. I kept going to church and praying to the Lord for help. At the time of her death she was prescribe lorcet and Soma and xanax and restall. She was also told she had fibro by her doctor. So before that she use to get so sleeping just setting or riding back home in the car. I this would only be a short time out to the doctor or store. On the 4 of Dec. she was looking like she was having a fibro sleep and couldn't keep her head up. I ask her if she did anything and she said no. So I took her to bed and lay down and watch TV with her. She when to a deep sleep and was snoring load, so I turn the TV on TV to our Christian music station and went out in the living room like always so she could sleep. around 12:30 am I was just getting out of the shower when her son yell to me that some thing was not right with his mother. He always came to the room to say good night and till her he love her. I turn on the light and saw the discolor of face and call 911. They had me to get her to the floor and start CPR until the fire rescue came. It was too late, they said she was dead for one or two hrs Debra "Debbie" Pincheck. 50. died Thursday December 5th at our home. I am asking everybody, if you know something about a love one don't leave them alone if you think they been doing oxya and other meds. It can happen to any one, we where Christian and went to church ever Sunday. And my wife read the bible ever day till her death David I. Pincheck P.S.
