On about April 19th 2002 SOMEONE hacked into the old guestbooks and DELETED them. What they deleted was over 500 DEATH and ADDICTION stories relating directly to OXYCONTIN. They also deleted over 100 stories from people who are legitimate patients and most of them need oxycontin for their SEVERE PAIN. I apologize to anyone who took the time to share their stories to HELP warn others. Those guestbooks were somehow a comfort to all who have been affected by this ABUSE epidemic. Please if you are looking for your story then REPOST it. I'm sad to say but by the amount of email I am receiving these guestbook's will rapidly rebuild their SAD tales BUT people need to be warned as to the power of this drug and the deadly consequences when ABUSED.
Please read the other stories and add yours to our guestbook...

Im a Fifteen year old girl and I just lost my bestfriend on June 15,2002 to an oxy overdose till this day i am still in a blurr on the whole situation. This boy meant the world to me and i know that seems impossible because i am so young but he truly meant everything to me. I miss his smile, his big blue eyes and his laugh. Just his touch and his reasuring word could make everything better. He died at the age of 16 just weeks before his 17th birthday, That is way too soon to be taken from so many people that needed him. He had his whole life ahead of him.It was finally the last day of school no more stressing about grades we were free! That day we said the ushall goodbye, i love you and make sure you call me later, all with a smile. We both went our sepreate ways and that night i called like i said i would but he didnt pick up his cell phone i thought nothing of it but the next morning i woke up at a friends house to a call from some one asking for his number i hesitated to give it but i did and asked the person to have him call me when she was done because i wanted to go to breakfast but instead of getting a call from him it was the same girl saying that he had passed away the night before from an overdose, my life came crashing down the weeks following were horrible i couldnt eat or sleep and truthfully i dont think there was a time that i stopped crying. I attended the wake and was a paul berrer at the funeral... the hardest thing i think i will ever have to do. I never thought i would have to place my bestfriend over a hole in the ground knowing i would never get to see his beautiful face again. I never even had a clue that he was doing anything he hated that sort of thing. Everyday i wish i could have been there to do somthing because in my heart i know he didnt know how dangerous this drug was, yes he took it willingly but the man he was with pressured him to do it. When the paramedics finally arived he had been gone for 2 hours and the man didnt call them untill he had hidden all his drugs.. my bestfriend layed there for two hours! before that man did anything so it was too late to revive him and to top it off that same man wouldnt tell the paramedics what he took so they couldnt give him a shot to try and revive him. I miss him more and more everyday. And because this choice was made i have to spend the rest of my life with out him by my side, I went to yor site and i wanted to tell you my story and thank you for putting your time into it. The site makes it a little eaiser knowing that other people are going through the same thing as me so if you find the time to write back it would be much appriciated! thank you again!!!! ZJM rest in peace baby!

My bestfriend passed away this summer at the age of 16 from a mixture of alcohol and oxycontin, to this day i dont understand how he got ahold of somthing so powerful with out me knowing. The first night of summer we both went our seperate ways, that night i called him and he didnt anwser so i figured he didnt have his cell phone i left a message and decided to wait till the morning to talk to him but the next morning i got a call saying that he had passed away and my heart dropped for the next three weeks my life was a blurr. Every day i think about what life is going to be like with out him here, im still so young and the most important person in my life had to be taken away. I just didnt understand and had no idea what to do with myself. The man that he was with didnt do anything about it till 2 hours after he was gone so there was no chance in reviving him. This boy meant everything to me. It was too early in life for him to be taken away from so many people that needed him. As far as i knew he had no idea what oxycontin was and wouldnt touch it.Life is too short to take risks like that and now i have to spend the rest of my life without him. So please take this into consideration.. There is a reaction for every action, and drugs get you no where no matter what life brings your way. rest in peace ZJM

Hello everyone, I just read some stories and I can relate to all of them. Where I live, around Seattle, Wa. The drug of choice is pain pills. I was taking them to on a regular basis, until recently I lost my best friend to an oxy (oc) overdose. He decided to take 2 oc 80's and he never woke up. And again Last night i had a horrible experience with them.. another close friend overdosed, he was minutes away from brain damage. when i got him to the er he was in a coma. My point is, please be careful. These pills are highly addictive. You dont know what your body can handle!!!!!!!!!!!!!
