On about April 19th 2002 SOMEONE hacked into the old guestbooks and DELETED them. What they deleted was over 500 DEATH and ADDICTION stories relating directly to OXYCONTIN. They also deleted over 100 stories from people who are legitimate patients and most of them need oxycontin for their SEVERE PAIN. I apologize to anyone who took the time to share their stories to HELP warn others. Those guestbooks were somehow a comfort to all who have been affected by this ABUSE epidemic. Please if you are looking for your story then REPOST it. I'm sad to say but by the amount of email I am receiving these guestbook's will rapidly rebuild their SAD tales BUT people need to be warned as to the power of this drug and the deadly consequences when ABUSED.
Please read the other stories and add yours to our guestbook...

My husband is addicted to lotabs and has been taking massive doses lying and beating the system to get them. We have 3 boys and a rocky marriage due to previous drug problems such as cocain, alchohol ect. He is now at a detox center for his addiction. I found out about this addiction about 2 months ago, he was arrested for writing his own prescriptions, since then he has been going to NA meetings and church all the while still using his drug.... Im not sure what stance to take here.. I dont know if I should let him come home after his treatments. I am very confused. Has anyone any advise?

Hi Mr. Bisch, You recently responded to me about my 15 year old brother. I let him see this web site and he has agreed to counseling and a rehab. I think you are so brave to help others who face this problem. My town ( South Boston, MA ) has a high oxy use population. I just wanted to say thank you. Your son's story has touched my life as well as my family's. I just wanted to say thank you. I really thank you for responding so quickly. My prayers are with you and your family.
