On about April 19th 2002 SOMEONE hacked into the old guestbooks and DELETED them. What they deleted was over 500 DEATH and ADDICTION stories relating directly to OXYCONTIN. They also deleted over 100 stories from people who are legitimate patients and most of them need oxycontin for their SEVERE PAIN. I apologize to anyone who took the time to share their stories to HELP warn others. Those guestbooks were somehow a comfort to all who have been affected by this ABUSE epidemic. Please if you are looking for your story then REPOST it. I'm sad to say but by the amount of email I am receiving these guestbook's will rapidly rebuild their SAD tales BUT people need to be warned as to the power of this drug and the deadly consequences when ABUSED.
Please read the other stories and add yours to our guestbook...

My sister who is 22 years old has been using oxy's along with zanax and what ever she can get from the doctors. She has been using (that we know of) for the last 2 years. She has been in rehab twice in the past year. and is still at it. She was introduced to it by her first boyfriend which she thinks is the love of her life? I beg to differ with her on that. I feel if he really cared or cares for her he wouldn't what to see her like this. But he is a abuser also so what difference does it matter to him? She has lied, stolen and just about everything she can do to us(her family) to keep up her habit. My mother is on the edge of a nervous brake-down from worring about her. We travel all hours of the night and to every drug dealers house we know to try to find her. But as you know you can't find someone who doesn't what to be found. We are to the point that we feel like all we can do is sit and wait for that dreeded phone call. We just don't know what else to do. We have talked and talked. We have cryed and begged to her we have drove for two days to get her in rehab. We just don't know? You what to just beat the heck out of her but you know it would proubly just make her worse. WOULD SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THE HECK IS THE FAMILY OF THESE PEOPLE SUPPOSE TO DO? BESIDES SIT AND WAIT? SHE TOTALLY AVOIDES US LESS OFCOURSE SHE NEEDS MONEY OR A PLACE TO LAY HER HEAD AT THE TIME. I am scared to death. Need advise PLEASE. How can you help these people? Please anyone Email me [email protected] Thank You

A little over amonth ago my boyfriend of what would have been 6 months died (6/15/02) of a still under investigation overdose (they are almost certain it was oxy). He was only 16 and his birthday was yesterday (7/19). He was found already dead on a couch at some guys house at 3AM. All week I had known that he was doing this drug and didnt say anything about it....didnt even think bout it.....till it was too late. SO many could have, would have, and should haves are going through my head and i dont really know what i am feeling right now. My heart goes out to all of you that have lost a son or daughter, spouse or partner, or even friend. I know how hard it is to lose the one person you care about the most. I also know how hard it is to deal with what goes through your head AFTER! Im not that old myself but at 15 i just went through hell and it was difficult not to join him. A lot of my friedns do this drug and they were friends with him too, i just pray that they open their eyes and that all of the rest of the youths in our country do the same. I love you Zachary and I always will DEM
