On about April 19th 2002 SOMEONE hacked into the old guestbooks and DELETED them. What they deleted was over 500 DEATH and ADDICTION stories relating directly to OXYCONTIN. They also deleted over 100 stories from people who are legitimate patients and most of them need oxycontin for their SEVERE PAIN. I apologize to anyone who took the time to share their stories to HELP warn others. Those guestbooks were somehow a comfort to all who have been affected by this ABUSE epidemic. Please if you are looking for your story then REPOST it. I'm sad to say but by the amount of email I am receiving these guestbook's will rapidly rebuild their SAD tales BUT people need to be warned as to the power of this drug and the deadly consequences when ABUSED.
Please read the other stories and add yours to our guestbook...

I wanted to leave a note about my friend Kami Bennet - her picture is posted on this site. I love her and miss her and I'm glad she is helping others after her death, although she doesn't know it. She was a beautiful, happy and smart girl until addiction took ahold of her and eventually killed her, leaving her son, Christian, without a mom. This website is wonderful and needs to be read by the people who are producing and approving OxyContin.

I come to this site today with a heavy heart. A girl I've known for years died yesterday from an overdose of Oxycontin. She was beautiful, smart..and 18 years old. She had taken too much because she apparently thought she could handle it. She couldn't. She was at her boyfriend's house, went to sleep, and never woke up. He awoke yesterday morning to find her swollen, discolored body next to him. This has been a traumatic experience for everyone who knew her, to say the least. We graduated together in May, and she only got to enjoy 2 months of being free from the pressures of high school and look forward to a whole new life ahead of her. We all know the risks, she just chose to take them. Another one of my friends' dad died from taking 1/8th of an OxyContin. He chewed it up. His heart exploded so violently that his ribs were broken. If you're taking OxyContin recreationally, please stop or get help..whatever you need to do, do it. If you only knew how badly it hurts to lose someone you know and love, you'd never do it again.

I have read alot of the stories posted here.I am very sorry for the ones this is effecting. I suffered a broken back with a spinal cord injury in 2003 due to an atv accident. I had to have major surgery as well as to learn how to walk all over again. At 27 years old,it's not that easy. I have never once taken an Oxy nor have i ever had the urge to. I suffer a great deal of pain daily & i still want nothing to do with the drug.I do have a friend that is hooked on them.He has yet to get help & he really needs it. I pray for each & every one of you!!!!!!
