On about April 19th 2002 SOMEONE hacked into the old guestbooks and DELETED them. What they deleted was over 500 DEATH and ADDICTION stories relating directly to OXYCONTIN. They also deleted over 100 stories from people who are legitimate patients and most of them need oxycontin for their SEVERE PAIN. I apologize to anyone who took the time to share their stories to HELP warn others. Those guestbooks were somehow a comfort to all who have been affected by this ABUSE epidemic. Please if you are looking for your story then REPOST it. I'm sad to say but by the amount of email I am receiving these guestbook's will rapidly rebuild their SAD tales BUT people need to be warned as to the power of this drug and the deadly consequences when ABUSED.
Please read the other stories and add yours to our guestbook...

Everyday more and more people, kids, parents, love ones are still taking oxycontin and dying,Today is the 6 month point of the lost of my 19 year old son Christopher, who I cry everyday for. This damn drug,I am fighting to save lives now and get the facts out here in Michigan about this drug, for it is all over our town. I finally recieved a letter from Dave Camp a Member of Congress, a very nice letter, and then a not so nice letter, I appreciate that he he said I am sorry to hear about your son;s death, and appreciate knowing my concerns regarding oxycontin, then he says In an effort to educate health care providers about these risks, Good old Purdue has issuued a warning in the form of Dear Health care professional letter, distributed widely to Dr;s,pharmacists, and healthcare professionals,My God if it wasn;t for Purdue to begin with I would not even be writing on this website,I read the book Pain Killer, everyone should, And Dave Camp sent me a copy of Prescription, Drugs:Oxycontin,Abuse, and Dirversion and Efforts To Address The Problem which came out in Dec. 2003.A GAO Report which I am still reading, Highly suggested to get a copy, then he ends my letter Betty, I commend your education on Oxycontin, Thank you for contacting me,I'll do more then that, I won;t stop from getting this drug out of here and every where else, What I have learned is no one is safe with this drug, not even the people who take it for the right reasons, it appears to me it may help the pain but it destroys their lives,This drug has to go, I just don;t see why after all the abuse stories, deaths, why they feel this drug is still Okay,This is a dangerous drug which should of never been made and has destroyed so many lives,Well I won;t stop writing to whoever may make a difference and help me fight this drug called Oxycontin,They all say it bad but they still give it out,Christopher I know you watch over me and your sisters everyday, We miss you so much,Just because it is 6 months sience I found you behind the door does not mean crap, You will always be in my heart which has a big hole in it, and not a day goes by that I don;t cry for you or wait for you to come home from work,I love you so much my son, love yu Chris Mom

I lost my 23-year-old brother on April 4, 2004. We have not received toxicology results as yet but are led to believe he had been receiving Oxycontin in the recent past by his uncle.
