On about April 19th 2002 SOMEONE hacked into the old guestbooks and DELETED them. What they deleted was over 500 DEATH and ADDICTION stories relating directly to OXYCONTIN. They also deleted over 100 stories from people who are legitimate patients and most of them need oxycontin for their SEVERE PAIN. I apologize to anyone who took the time to share their stories to HELP warn others. Those guestbooks were somehow a comfort to all who have been affected by this ABUSE epidemic. Please if you are looking for your story then REPOST it. I'm sad to say but by the amount of email I am receiving these guestbook's will rapidly rebuild their SAD tales BUT people need to be warned as to the power of this drug and the deadly consequences when ABUSED.
Please read the other stories and add yours to our guestbook...

It seems like yesterday you fitted so perfectly in my arms, your tiny ten toes and fingers, your curly reddish-brown hair. You were our bundle of joy. I assured myself no harm would come your way as you grew into a little boy, climbing trees, playing, racing cars, running the football line was your greatest joy. As a young man your arms grew strongto protect those you loved. Your adoring smile ran for miles, your laughter can still be heard from the golden gates. The twinkle in your eyes brought joy wiyh everyone who came across your path. Love you have given to others and kindnessyou showed remindsus how Jesus lived in your heart. No one can harm you again, as our Lord called you home on April 29,2001. Now you live within that mansion and walk the streets of gold. Where your treasure is, so will your heart be. I look forward to the day God calls my name so we can walk hand in hand and enjoythe paradise of heaven. Love yesterday, today and tomorrow, MOM xoxoxo In Loving Memory of NICK MORTON December 3,1979 April 29,2001

Thank you Ed for responding to my e-mail. On Wednesday, April 17, 2002, we buried my 26 year old first cousin, Daniel. Daniel died on Sunday, April 14, 2002 at 2:30 a.m.. Like Ed's son, Daniel had taken Xanax earlier the preceeding Saturday and then he took the Oxycontin along with alcohol. He was at a club and his wife took him home because he was "passing-out" at the club. She went back to the club to meet some other friends and when she came home a couple of hours later he was not breathing. She tried CPR, but she did not know that he was already dead. Daniel leaves behind his wife of 1 1/2 years, a 5 year old son and a daughter who will celebrate her first birthday on May 25, 2002...her daddy never even got to see her take her first steps two weeks ago. These kids will never know their daddy. Daniel also leaves behind so many family and friends, he had over 300 people attend his funeral. Daniel and I were five years apart in age, with me being the oldest, we were raised like brother and sister. If he ever had any problems, he would always talk to me. I never knew much about Oxycontin until now...and now is too late. I hope that Ed's website will teach other kids and adults just how dangerous this drug is. People, especially kids, just don't know realize that Oxycontin will kill you....I didn't, until April 14!

I have just read my lovely daughter's story. When she reads this I want her to know that I love her very much and never stopped loving her. I prayed to God to deliver her and he has. It may have seemed to her that I was turning my back on her but I had to let God take control. Lori, you are a child of God; born in his spirit; saved by his grace. Believe him to take care of his child. He will! THANK YOU JESUS FOR DELIVERING MY LITTLE GIRL! Thank you lori for turning your life over to him. I love You, Mother
