On about April 19th 2002 SOMEONE hacked into the old guestbooks and DELETED
them. What they deleted was over 500 DEATH and ADDICTION stories relating
directly to OXYCONTIN. They also deleted over 100 stories from people who
are legitimate patients and most of them need oxycontin for their SEVERE
PAIN. I apologize to anyone who took the time to share their stories to HELP
warn others. Those guestbooks were somehow a comfort to all who have been
affected by this ABUSE epidemic. Please if you are looking for your story
then REPOST it. I'm sad to say but by the amount of email I am receiving
these guestbook's will rapidly rebuild their SAD tales BUT people need to be
warned as to the power of this drug and the deadly consequences when ABUSED.

My heart goes out to all that have lost someone due to the abuse of this medication. July 19, 2003 I was involved in a serious boat accident in which I broke both my femurs (thigh bones), my left hip and cracked a vertebre in my back in half. I have tried several differant kind of pain pills which failed or had little effect in my pain until my doctor prescribed Oxycontin. Still to this very day a year and a half ago I have excruiating pain within my spine and muscle surrounding it. I have kept my dependance of this medication, but however my husband hasn't everytime I get a refill his hand is opened awaiting his "share". It's unreal the verbal abuse and three incidents in which involved Xanax 1x, Ambien 1x (sleeping pills), and my Vicodin Es script that influenced him to become violant and proceed to push me down to the floor when I was 6 1/2 months pregnant. When there isn't any drugs around or in his system he's the most loving, caring, dedicated husband a girl can only dream to find. A little bit of advice for all of you out there that have an addiction please seek help don't give up it's a fight no doubt it, but the pay off in the in is well worth it. |

My best friend Alvin Shina just passed away from this pill, and everyone cant get over it, it kills to loose a friend, the worst is for his family, OXY KILLLS DO NOT DOOO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!think before u want to get high or feeling good what will it do to everyone who cares about u? |

I thought kids learned by my son Chris's death at age 19, But I guess not. This weekend 19 year old named B.K. ,died of oxycontin,Someones son, brother,Grandchild, or friend.Not only does the person who takes the hell pill hurt but we who are left behind missing yu,loving yu from above.The hurt never stops.the pain of losing someone never goes away.If you think you are safe from oxycontin, you are not.Get help, before you put your loved ones in pain and suffering for the rest of their lives.I know I live this life from losing my 19 year old son. |
