On about April 19th 2002 SOMEONE hacked into the old guestbooks and DELETED
them. What they deleted was over 500 DEATH and ADDICTION stories relating
directly to OXYCONTIN. They also deleted over 100 stories from people who
are legitimate patients and most of them need oxycontin for their SEVERE
PAIN. I apologize to anyone who took the time to share their stories to HELP
warn others. Those guestbooks were somehow a comfort to all who have been
affected by this ABUSE epidemic. Please if you are looking for your story
then REPOST it. I'm sad to say but by the amount of email I am receiving
these guestbook's will rapidly rebuild their SAD tales BUT people need to be
warned as to the power of this drug and the deadly consequences when ABUSED.

Death - January 8, 2005
All the people of West Bloomfield who knew him, especially from West Bloomfield High School are all mourning. This was a tragic event, and just was not supposed to happen. So many people knew this guy, n he wast really a bad guy at all, just did some stupid things that young guys do, and look were it has ended him up in...in heaven, looking all down at us, watching over all us.

Our hearts can cry a million tears, but it will never undo the pain, or what happend, or what oxycontin did to our dear friend alvin, we miss him everyday, and its just too difficult to except this loss, WE MISS U ALV!!!! RIP hun! LOVE YA ALWAYS!!!!!!!

I know someone who has recently tried to take his own life. I believe it is because of the OxyContin. He has been on this pill for over 2 years now for cronic back pain. I am sickend because of the fact his doctor continues to prescribe this medication to him. If he was to succeed at killing himself he would sadly leave behind the one thing he says is most precious in his life...his son.
