On about April 19th 2002 SOMEONE hacked into the old guestbooks and DELETED them. What they deleted was over 500 DEATH and ADDICTION stories relating directly to OXYCONTIN. They also deleted over 100 stories from people who are legitimate patients and most of them need oxycontin for their SEVERE PAIN. I apologize to anyone who took the time to share their stories to HELP warn others. Those guestbooks were somehow a comfort to all who have been affected by this ABUSE epidemic. Please if you are looking for your story then REPOST it. I'm sad to say but by the amount of email I am receiving these guestbook's will rapidly rebuild their SAD tales BUT people need to be warned as to the power of this drug and the deadly consequences when ABUSED.
Please read the other stories and add yours to our guestbook...

I first learned of this web site after my son died. At first I thought he had an anuresyn. I had no clue he would take the pill. It killed him and he only took one apparently halved the pill getting the full effect at once. I am sure not many people realize that one pill of any kind can kill you.I am a nurse and i had no idea that 1 oxycontin could kill you. He had no other pill in his system. HE had been drinking alchol. But the cause of death was accidnetal oxycodone toxcicity. This web site has made me understand a lot about the pill. This I thank you for. I miss my son so very much. I hope that people read and understand this web site and the statement it is making. Thank you

Hi, my sister is an addict who started with oxycontin, and then decided to check herself into a methadone clinic that was supposed to help her get off of the oxycontin and become come free of drugs completely. That was three years ago, and today she is sitting in the local county jail, pregnant and alone. My aunt has her two children, one of which was born while she was on methadone. She has been in county for 41 days now, and is due to come home today, she detoxed completely in jail, because they do not dose the inmates there, and is attending 2 classes a week for drug rehab. I am so scared for her, she overdosed with her baby in the car, which is what landed her in jail, and as bad as I want to believe that she is clean now, how do we know that she will not start again as soon as she gets home? The father of her youngest child, and the one she is pregnant with now, is still an abuser, he has no interest in getting help, and despite all he has done to her, she still says she loves him, and sneeks around to be with him. Children and Family services has stepped in and the only reason that she hasn't lost her children is because we have family that is willing to step up. Where do we end out support so that she knows that we are serious? I love her and don't want to lose her, no as a matter of fact, let me reword that..I WON'T LOSE HER! I just don't know what else to do...If anyone has any advice feel free to email me. Thanks for listening.
