On about April 19th 2002 SOMEONE hacked into the old guestbooks and DELETED them. What they deleted was over 500 DEATH and ADDICTION stories relating directly to OXYCONTIN. They also deleted over 100 stories from people who are legitimate patients and most of them need oxycontin for their SEVERE PAIN. I apologize to anyone who took the time to share their stories to HELP warn others. Those guestbooks were somehow a comfort to all who have been affected by this ABUSE epidemic. Please if you are looking for your story then REPOST it. I'm sad to say but by the amount of email I am receiving these guestbook's will rapidly rebuild their SAD tales BUT people need to be warned as to the power of this drug and the deadly consequences when ABUSED.
Please read the other stories and add yours to our guestbook...

Before these past six months of my life I believed that I was just using oxycontin recreationally. Looking back at the mistakes I have made I can truly see what an addict I was. I would do anything for a pill:lie, steal, or even die. I feel like now I gave away three years of my life to a pill and not once realized what I was doing. I tried stopping many times but never could. Then I was inroduced to something called the naltraxone pellet which has helped me regain trust and get my life right. This pellet which most people do not know about is surgically put in your arm and cost $700. But it last for 3 months at a time. After having this for a month it felt like I woke from a coma Id been living in for 3 years. I realized what an idiot I really was and everything being told to me for the past 3 years started to set in. It just seems when you are addicted to oxycontin you are the worst possible version of yourself. I love my family with all my heart because they never gave up on me. Today, I am 21 years old, a division 1 athlete and have a future because my family refused to lose a battle to drug addiction. If anyone wants info on the pellet please contact me. It may seem like alot of money but a week of OC's can surpass that amount. Good luck to everyone battling this disease and may God be with you Best Regards, Hank Carisio

The day has come. Today is the year anniversary of my soul mate's passing. He passed away May 19th, 2005.It was completely unexpected; as he did not take pills. It only took one. Today is a sad day. Seeing the date on cell phone, computer, writing it on my chalkboard, it all makes me sick. I have to remember the good times we had, and his beautiful smile, and not focus on the one dreadful day that took him. If you are taking Oxy, think of the ones you will leave in pain after you are gone. And God bless all of us who must move forward without our loved ones. You must be strong and of good faith. I miss you so much Ellis. All of my unconditional love to you forever.

My name is Lisa. I am a 42 year old woman with a 45 year old sister who is now addicted to Oxycontin. My sister has been an addict since she was a teenager. Her addiction has progressed over the years and took twists and turns. From pills, pot, and alcohol , to cocaine, snorting and smoking it. The crack is what took her from her husband and two sons. She chose the streets over them. And now years later, It is oxycontin and heroin. She is prescribed Oxy for a motor vehicle accident she was in about 10 years ago, and still cries of severe pain. When her prescripition is gone she takes herion. When the addicts she associates with, she comes crying for money to buy more drugs. She weighs only 90 lbs. Im afraid that she will die from overdose. I cannot be around her because it hurts too much,. I just wish she would get help. Robin, I miss you and want my big sister!!!!
