On about April 19th 2002 SOMEONE hacked into the old guestbooks and DELETED
them. What they deleted was over 500 DEATH and ADDICTION stories relating
directly to OXYCONTIN. They also deleted over 100 stories from people who
are legitimate patients and most of them need oxycontin for their SEVERE
PAIN. I apologize to anyone who took the time to share their stories to HELP
warn others. Those guestbooks were somehow a comfort to all who have been
affected by this ABUSE epidemic. Please if you are looking for your story
then REPOST it. I'm sad to say but by the amount of email I am receiving
these guestbook's will rapidly rebuild their SAD tales BUT people need to be
warned as to the power of this drug and the deadly consequences when ABUSED.

On March 20th, 2005 my 23yr old neice died from Oxycontin overdose. From what I have learned this was her first or second time to use it. We still do not have the autopsy report as to how much she had taken, we do know she got it from Drug dealers (I do not know who or where YET)and from what I understand this is the new "thrill". While I was at the funeral service in California ( I live in another state)I watched the local news there was a story about another young man/boy age 21 who died from the same town from Oxycontin /overdosed on 1 pill.Somebody has to do something about this new KILLER. I have read stories about Doctors being arrested for selling the drug because of the popularity and MONEY.SOMETHING MUST BE DONE. My heart goes out to all the families who have lost loved ones to this Drug." God Bless All" |

It has been just over a year since my beautiful step daughter died from an Oxy overdose. In just 11 days we begin the trial for Second Degree murder of the man who sold her the drug. He actually injected her, and others. It turns out that part of the "high" for these girls was to have the male inject them. He has been a dealer for years. I pray this was his last deal so that no other family has to endure the pain that we have. We know tha Megan will be made to look really bad in this trial, but if her death removes this dealer, I think we can handle it. |

My 53 year old brother Brian passed away April 17, 2005< He had been on oxycontin for about 3-4 years and his latest dosage was 40mg. I am researching his death now and will try to meet with the coroner and his doctor to get more information. |
