On about April 19th 2002 SOMEONE hacked into the old guestbooks and DELETED
them. What they deleted was over 500 DEATH and ADDICTION stories relating
directly to OXYCONTIN. They also deleted over 100 stories from people who
are legitimate patients and most of them need oxycontin for their SEVERE
PAIN. I apologize to anyone who took the time to share their stories to HELP
warn others. Those guestbooks were somehow a comfort to all who have been
affected by this ABUSE epidemic. Please if you are looking for your story
then REPOST it. I'm sad to say but by the amount of email I am receiving
these guestbook's will rapidly rebuild their SAD tales BUT people need to be
warned as to the power of this drug and the deadly consequences when ABUSED.

i was in a very bad care accident. got hooked on es vicodin. i HAD TO TELL THE DOCTOR GET ME OFF THESE THINGS! well he wasn't popping them was he. well if ya want to get off get codien #4 equals about an es-vicodin. then they have #3 codiene. the bottom line is vicodine has to much of a tolerance an you'll destry your liver and not even get high. the 3 that did it yesyerday takes 5 today. so get on codiene and just ween down. think of your health, the money, your poor family and GOD LOVES YOU. ween. right it on a calender. if ya take 20 today, take 18 tomorrow. and beleive me it will work.
if your hard core or haven't messed your life up enough to do this, you will DIE, PLAIN AND SIMPLE. weening off, and theres also other things herbs that make ya not feel so "down". set a program to ween and follow it. it's easyier than you realize. . Be honest with your doctor. if ya can't find one ya can be honest with and , heh i hide thm in my vitamins capsules half's. whatever it takes. life's pretty great once your on your old energy again. you can do it all things are possible with GOD.

My step-grandchildren's father died Wed, Oct.16th, in Baton Rouge, La. from an (illegal) intraveneous injection of oxycontin. He was 35 years old! His three children (ages 13,12,& 10) are broken-hearted and his elderly, terminally ill mother, whom he lived with and cared for, feels hopelessly abandoned. His name was "Jimmy". He was going to take his son hunting on Saturday but instead, his son attended his father's funeral! If their mother doesn't change, she might be the next statistic, of oxycontin abuse! How sad, for the innocent "victims" of of the drug culture, to have to pay such a high price! We love the children and they know we will always be there for them. |

May God Bless my brother and beloved friend, Andy Lackemacher, age 31, who died on Thursday, October 17, 2002 from what appears to be an accidental overdose of Oxycontin and methedone.
He leaves behind his bride, his mother, two loving neices and countless friends. His sudden and untimely passing has left a gaping hole in our lives. We await the results of his autopsy and struggle daily with the pointlessness of his addiction and death.
For the "friends" and doctors who encouraged and enabled his addiction, I hope the burden of his death lies heavily upon their hearts.
For all who have suffered similarly, may you find peace.
