On about April 19th 2002 SOMEONE hacked into the old guestbooks and DELETED
them. What they deleted was over 500 DEATH and ADDICTION stories relating
directly to OXYCONTIN. They also deleted over 100 stories from people who
are legitimate patients and most of them need oxycontin for their SEVERE
PAIN. I apologize to anyone who took the time to share their stories to HELP
warn others. Those guestbooks were somehow a comfort to all who have been
affected by this ABUSE epidemic. Please if you are looking for your story
then REPOST it. I'm sad to say but by the amount of email I am receiving
these guestbook's will rapidly rebuild their SAD tales BUT people need to be
warned as to the power of this drug and the deadly consequences when ABUSED.

My only brother "Anthony" passed away on 5-14-2003. He died from an overdose of Oxy-Contin. He went to rehab in Feb 2003. He came home and seemed to be doing better, then got in with the wrong group. Now he's dead. My parents found him dead in the downstairs living room floor. My Mom said she had gone to the bathroom and noticed he was snoring REAL LOUD, and she thought he's sleeping so good, then the next morning she realized he was dead, and called me on the phone, I could not believe it, so I rushed over there, and sure enough he was dead. It breaks my heart every time I think about it. I really can't believe he is dead STILL.....It's hard...His friends are addicted to Oxy Contin as well. I hope they get set free of this horrible drug before they die!!!! |

I just wanted to say im sorry to all the parents and people who have lost someone to this evil drug. I have been clean for 6 months now and i have never felt better. I remember telling myself that im only going to try oxy once. That was a lie. The next thing i knew i was doing it everyday. I guess i just didnt feel right without having it in my system. I realized i was getting bad when i was around my friends and they were all shooting up, but i was so deep into the drug, i couldnt get out. I wasted 2 years of my life, a lot of money, and a lot of friends becasue of my addiction. I guess what I want to say is that for those people who are still doing oxy, and think that there is no way out, they are wrong. It is a chocie that you have to make and I pray that you make the decison before it is to late to fix. |
