On about April 19th 2002 SOMEONE hacked into the old guestbooks and DELETED
them. What they deleted was over 500 DEATH and ADDICTION stories relating
directly to OXYCONTIN. They also deleted over 100 stories from people who
are legitimate patients and most of them need oxycontin for their SEVERE
PAIN. I apologize to anyone who took the time to share their stories to HELP
warn others. Those guestbooks were somehow a comfort to all who have been
affected by this ABUSE epidemic. Please if you are looking for your story
then REPOST it. I'm sad to say but by the amount of email I am receiving
these guestbook's will rapidly rebuild their SAD tales BUT people need to be
warned as to the power of this drug and the deadly consequences when ABUSED.

I know alot of people that are hooked on oxy's and I try to tell them that they are killing theirselves. People that crush them up to snort them or boot them might as well put a loaded gun to their head.Come on people stop being selfish when it becomes a problem it involves everybody connected to that person. God didnt make this world so that we take our own lives THAT IS HIS JOB !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I just wanted to say I am so sorry for all the people who have lost a loved one to Oxy's. I lost my 20 year old brohter in-law just in May of an Oxycontin overdose. I have posted stuff in my local newspaper about Oxy's being so addictive and something being done about doctors handing them out for every little pain. I have recieved nothing but hateful responses! You guys have put together a wonderful site for people dealing with a loss of a love one. Thank-you |

Hi. I am a 19 year old living in the New Orleans area and i DESPARATELY need some help. I started to "abuse" oxy's about 2 years ago. I only used it recreationally on weekends with a couple of my friends to get really "loaded". Before I knew it I was abusing oxy's EVERYDAY. It started to take more and more oxys to make me feel "good". Now my daily dose is up to 400mg a day.(5 80mg pills) My life is slowly dwindling away. I don't take it to get loaded anymore, but just to make me feel like a normal person. I have been to a rehab that kept me overnight for 2 months and I was clean for about 2 weeks when I got out, but I immedately found my way back to the "white devil". I am posting this message in hopes that someone will e-mail me with some info to help me stop. My life is on the line. Please give me a helping hand to change my life around. I am fixing to join the Coast Gaurd in about 3 months in hopes that this will help me achieve my dream of living a normal life, but I need some help now, so please help me out. Someone...PLEASE!!!
