I have not slept in days. I started to take oxys for chronic nerve damage caused by diabetes. The doctor I was going to only asked me a few questions, and blam next thing I know Iam an addict.Ive been through withdrals a number of times yet I still didnt get it and i would go right back to using the oxys. I take however maney I can get at once. I lie I steal from the people I love I have a great job that I will likly lose because of this little black pill.I started this addiction legally they were perscribed to me by a ligitamit doctor or so I thought. So I guess what I want to say is please think really hard about taking this pill I was totally against drugs I rarely used aspiren noow Iam a full blown addict becuse I thought I needed this drug for my pain. Well now I need this drug just to live.At the rate Iam going the oxys will probably kill me.I just want you to know the dangers of this pill if I keep one person from doing them I will be happy.Oxycottin has its place but it should be watched more closely if you have chronic cancer oxys are for you. If you are dying then this pill is for you.If you have chronic pain I strongly urge you to look at other methodes of pain managment becuse chances are if you start this drug you will never be able to stop using this drug. So if you want to end up a fucking mess like me go ahead and take them.Like me you will become just another statistic .Please think hard before you start using oxycottins legally or illegally.Thanks Sean.   Name:LBien Email:Poet566 Type:Death Story Date:7/23/2002 On July 20th scott was taken from his loving family and friends. I did not know scott all that well, except for the occasional hello, and goodbye. I as well as many others were very aware of Scott's abuse. The biggest problem with this situation is that scott's doctor had been prescribing him these pills following a car accident he had gotten into over a year ago. scott was capable of movement, and should not have been given these pills on a consistent basis. Scott did not just use Oxy, but Xanax, Loracets, percs, and any other drug he could get his hands on. Before the accident, Scott was almost like every other 25 year old, and now, he's gone forever. We have to question the value of these doctors whom are so quick to give a drug away, how many more scotts' will there have to be?   Name:Kellie Email:[email protected] Type:Death Story Date:7/23/2002 I just had to go threw the most horrible expiernce in my life. I had to deal with death. I am 27 and this was the first time someone I loved passed away. My uncle who was only 39 died of a heart attack. He had picked up a perscription for OxyContin on Wednesday and on Friday I got a call from my aunt that he was found in bed, DEAD. We have yet to get the autopsy back,I know that Oxy's were in his system, how many I donot know. Cause of death could very well be natural, I will NEVER believe that. I know those pills killed my uncle. He was having back pains for awhile and I know he had Vicotins and Pericits. But when the pain got unbearable he went to the doctors and they gave him the OxyContin. I am not blaming the doctors at all but if my uncle was more aware of the strength on these pills than mabye he would have not even taken them.Or mabye that is what I want to believe. I know my uncle messed with alot of things in his life but what he did did not know is the real meaning of how potent these pills were. He had 2 boys and they were his LIFE. He never had taken these pills before and proboly figured like alot of other people I know what I can handle and really had no clue how deadly they are. I do not understand with all these articles and all this talk about these pills being deadly why the hell they would even be percribed to people unless they were in the hospital. I hope to find peace in my unlce's death. Right now they is so much anger to why he had these stupid pills that the peace I wish for is no where in reach.
