On about April 19th 2002 SOMEONE hacked into the old guestbooks and DELETED them. What they deleted was over 500 DEATH and ADDICTION stories relating directly to OXYCONTIN. They also deleted over 100 stories from people who are legitimate patients and most of them need oxycontin for their SEVERE PAIN. I apologize to anyone who took the time to share their stories to HELP warn others. Those guestbooks were somehow a comfort to all who have been affected by this ABUSE epidemic. Please if you are looking for your story then REPOST it. I'm sad to say but by the amount of email I am receiving these guestbook's will rapidly rebuild their SAD tales BUT people need to be warned as to the power of this drug and the deadly consequences when ABUSED.
Please read the other stories and add yours to our guestbook...

My son is in his 5th rehab for Oxy addiction. Does anyone know of a non-12 step therapy for the treatment of Oxy addiction? Does anyone know of someone with over 3 years of recovery from Oxy addiction, if yes, how did they do it? Please e-mail me at [email protected]

My husband is addicted to oxycontin, went to rehab twice and was using suboxone, which I think just hides his relapses. I found out recently that he is now shooting heroin. It all started when someone gave him a pill at work..and he is 43 years old!! When he went to the doctor to get suboxone, he met elderly people, business men, all addicted to suboxone. Now I have two teenage daughters and their father is a heroin addict, our lives have unraveled in record time..This drug ruins more lives than anyone can ever imagine.

Just wondering..Why is it so easy to get Oxycontin prescribed to you but if you want off..It sooooo much more difficult to find a dr to prescribe methadone or suboxone?Makes little sense to me.
