On about April 19th 2002 SOMEONE hacked into the old guestbooks and DELETED them. What they deleted was over 500 DEATH and ADDICTION stories relating directly to OXYCONTIN. They also deleted over 100 stories from people who are legitimate patients and most of them need oxycontin for their SEVERE PAIN. I apologize to anyone who took the time to share their stories to HELP warn others. Those guestbooks were somehow a comfort to all who have been affected by this ABUSE epidemic. Please if you are looking for your story then REPOST it. I'm sad to say but by the amount of email I am receiving these guestbook's will rapidly rebuild their SAD tales BUT people need to be warned as to the power of this drug and the deadly consequences when ABUSED.
Please read the other stories and add yours to our guestbook...

Hi. My names Jessica. Im 16 years old and i live in conneticut. I have been in some difficult situations involving oxcontin and i thought that i might share one with you. i was involved with oxycontin a few months ago and i was very heavily addicted and a couple of my friends knew about it and they wanted me to stop. i tried but still ended up going back to it even though i knew that i could do with out it. My best friend Nicole found out about it and she threatend to not be my friend because she didnt want to deal with me ont he drugs because i wasnt a plaesent person i guess. I fnialy realized that the drug was doing nothing but mess up my life and i was loosing everything that was important to me, my family and my best friend. That was like a reality check for me and i realized that i was killing my body. Im really sorry for the trouble that was caused and i wish that i could put a stop to it all. trust me i want that more than anything! bye for now. Love, Jessica*

Hello, I have written on this site several times in the past few years. I also read this page everyday. It is a very sobering site. You see this site has been my back bone in dealing with my husbands addiction. Over the past five years I have watched my husbands life slip away and him not care. I have trid to get him to go inpatient or even outpatient, but he never wanted to. I am happy to say that after 8 long years of drug abuse my husband came to me and said he was done, he couldn't do it anymore. he took it upon himself to find a treatment center and he did this on his own. He now gets up every morning at 5:15 to go to the methadone clinic. he comes home, he helps with my daughter, he gets her up, fixes her lunch. He helps clean around the house. He takes pride in his looks and is concerned how the pills have destroyed his body. This is the first time in 7 years that I have felt hope for him and in our relationship. When I first heard of the methadone clinic I thought it was a place for junkies, another place to get a fix. I thank god now for these clinics and the help that they have been able to provide my husband. He has insane amounts of energy. He is a happy person, he doesn't go through the shakes, sweats, or night jerks. He is a new person and I have hope that he will recover.
